Ms. Forshey advises on a range of issues impacting the firm’s risk exposure and client relations with respect to ethics and compliance related matters to support the firm’s offices worldwide. These often include resolving conflicts of interest, negotiating contracts, and interpreting rules of ethics and professional conduct.

Before joining Akin, Ms. Forshey held a similar role as a conflicts attorney at another international law firm. Earlier in her career, Ms. Forshey worked as an attorney focused on substantive and strategic discovery issues in large litigation and investigation matters, including ediscovery and legal project management.
