Sina Safvati is an associate in the litigation practice.
Practice and Background
Prior to joining Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Mr. Safvati received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2016, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif, served as an articles editor of the UCLA Law Review, and received the Jerry Pacht and Judith Roedelheimer Pacht Constitutional Law Award. He served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Stephen Wilson of the Central District of California. While in law school, he wrote numerous amicus curiae briefs for the Scott & Cyan Banister First Amendment Clinic and the UCLA Supreme Court Clinic. He has also published a student comment in the UCLA Law Review titled “Public-Private Divide in Parker State Action Immunity.”
