Tristan is an associate in the firm’s investment management practice. He advises on the formation and operation of private investment funds, including private equity funds and hedge funds.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Tristan clerked for the Texas Attorney General’s Office.

Tristan earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he served as executive editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law. He was also a member of the 2019 VIS International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
