Akin Gump Advises Warrior Met Coal in Secured Note Offering

(New York) – Warrior Met Coal, Inc. has announced that it has priced its previously announced private offering of $350 million in aggregate principal amount of 8.00 percent senior secured notes due 2024. The offering closed November 2, 2017, and Akin Gump advised the company in the transaction.
Warrior Met Coal expects to use the net proceeds of the offering of the notes, together with cash on hand of approximately $260 million, to pay a special cash dividend of approximately $600 million to all of its stockholders on a pro rata basis, to be paid on November 22.
