For Third Time in 2018, Akin Gump Advises Warrior Met Coal in Secondary Public Offering

(New York) – Warrior Met Coal, Inc. has announced the closing of an underwritten secondary offering of 2,204,806 shares of its common stock by certain of its existing stockholders. Akin Gump advised the company and certain selling stockholders in the matter.
Partner Rosa Testani led the Akin Gump team advising Warrior Met Coal with regard to capital markets work. She was joined by partners Shar Ahmed and Alice Hsu, senior counsel Alexandra Reuss, counsel Jonathan Pico, associates Cynthia Angell, Natasha Burnett, Brandon Kinnard, Alex Leitch and Cabell Massey and senior practice attorney Julie Feldman. Partner Daniel Fisher led on corporate matters. Tax practice co-head Patrick Fenn led the team providing tax advice, joined by senior counsel Jonathan Ciner.
This is the third time this year that Akin Gump has advised Warrior Met Coal in a secondary offering. In June, the company announced an offering of 5 million shares. (Click here to read more).
