Michelle Reed, Akin Gump Named Finalists for Am Law 2021 Industry Awards

(Dallas) – Michelle Reed has been named a finalist in the category of Best Mentor, and Akin Gump has been named a finalist for Legal Services Innovation, at the 2021 The American Lawyer Industry Awards. The Awards look to honor “outstanding achievements in the legal profession.”
Winners will be announced at The American Lawyer Industry Awards in New York on December 2.
The Best Mentor: Law Firm award “will honor someone who has dedicated a significant portion of their time and energy to mentoring younger professionals.” The Legal Services Innovation award “is given to a law firm that has made significant strides in the last two years to innovate how it delivers legal services.”
Late last year, Michelle Reed was named a Texas Lawyer Attorney of the Year finalist (click here to learn more), and the firm received multiple recognitions in the Financial Times North America Innovative Lawyers report (click here to learn more).
For the innovation award, the firm is recognized for its development of the Military End Use/Military End User (MEU) Tool, together with Palantir Technologies Inc.
