Who’s Who Legal Selects Akin Gump as Insolvency & Restructuring Firm of the Year; Ten Partners Chosen as Leading Individuals

(New York) – Akin Gump has once again been named Insolvency & Restructuring Firm of the Year by Who’s Who Legal. Ten of the firm’s financial restructuring partners were also named leaders in their field.

This was the second consecutive year that Akin Gump has been named Firm of the Year in this category. The individuals chosen for recognition were Danny Golden, Fred Hodara, James Roome, Barry Russell, Ira Dizengoff, Michael Stamer, James Terry, Chuck Gibbs, Naomi Moore and Lisa Beckerman. Mr. Hodara was noted for leading “many significant cross-border insolvency matters, including representing the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Nortel Networks.”

The Who's Who Legal practice awards recognize “a collection of the very best private practice and in-house lawyers.” The 2016 winners were announced yesterday at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
