Akin Gump Recognized in Who’s Who Legal 100 and Compendium 2016 Editions
(Washington, D.C.) – Who’s Who Legal 100 has rated Akin Gump among the “world’s leading law firms” and, separately, recognized 49 of the firm’s lawyers as leaders in their areas of practice in Who’s Who Legal 2016 – Compendium Edition. These recognitions follow the firm’s selection as Insolvency & Restructuring Firm of the Year at the Who’s Who Legal Awards 2016 ceremony that was held in April (read more here).
In its fifth edition, Who’s Who Legal 100 profiled Akin Gump in its Finance category for the second consecutive year, noting the firm as having a “superb finance group” and spotlighting partners Prakash Mehta, Stephen Vine, Tim Pearce and Robert Griffin Jr. The publication draws from a selection process incorporating “thousands of hours of interviews with leading lawyers and their clients in over 140 jurisdictions, and hundreds of thousands of votes and recommendations.”
